Tell us about your background, where did you work/what did you do in the past before joining LJHA?

From leaving school to the age of 26/27 I wasn’t concerned about any job – I just wanted to play Rugby. Once my Rugby career ended I got a job at Milner Build. I stayed for 11 years.
I picked up all of my abilities there and learnt my trade, meaning I can do a bit of everything.

When the recession hit I was made redundant and unemployed for about a year before I was approached with a job offer at Ford Property Maintenance.

I was there for roughly seven years before moving to LJHA which I now thoroughly enjoy.

Is there anything specific about working at LJHA that you enjoy?

It’s nice to go to a job where I wake up and genuinely like to go to work for the day, I don’t class it as a job when you really enjoy it. I also enjoy the variety of work and the people that I am around.

Are there any big challenges in your job that you have to overcome?

Not really, the only thing that would be difficult is not knowing what challenge is going to come up next.
