LJHA have re-opened our refurbished hairdressing salon at Stonegate Way in memory of some much-missed members of the LJHA family.

The salon was re-opened in memory of Brian and Sheila Stone and Lynda Ross.

Sheila was responsible for opening the hairdressing salon at Donisthorpe Hall, and Brian was part of the fixtures and fittings as Property Services Manager at LJHA for many years.

Lynda was the driving force behind our Knit n’ Knatter group, who have made countless donations to communal causes over the years, and are still doing so today – new members very welcome!

For Andrew Stone, opening the salon in memory of his parents was a wonderful way to honour them in view of their contributions to Leeds Jewish Housing Association and to Donisthorpe Hall.

Suzy Rudette, Lynda’s daughter, recalled that her mum was always one for taking care of herself and that a hair salon is the perfect tribute to her memory.

May their memories be a blessing 🥰😊
