Thanks to funding from Leeds City Council’s Covid-19 Community Champions Programme, and Simon Marcus from Addictive Media, LJHA have made a short film reflecting on experiences of residents, relatives and staff over the last 18 months.
As we hopefully start to return to some sense of normality, we wanted to produce a video, reflecting upon the last 12 months. What effect has this had on physical and mental well-being? What impact have the various Covid measures had on both sheltered and general needs residents, and upon staff? What have LJHA done well and what could we have done better?
In this video, you will hear from some residents, a family member of a resident, our Director of Operations, and our Community Engagement Officer.
As a minority-ethnic housing association, the video will also, we hope, serve as a valuable case study for the ongoing local and national debates and discussion on the impact of Covid-19 on minority communities.
